Our Story

Web3Settle was founded in London with a straightforward conviction: merchants should never have to trust a third party with their funds to accept crypto payments. We saw an industry where payment gateways held custody of merchant funds, charged high fees, and operated as opaque intermediaries — the very things blockchain was meant to eliminate.

So we built something different. Web3Settle deploys a dedicated smart contract for every merchant, giving them direct, non-custodial control over their received payments. No pooled wallets. No withdrawal queues. No counterparty risk. Funds flow directly from customer to merchant contract, verifiable on-chain.

Our mission is to make non-custodial payment acceptance as simple and reliable as traditional card processing — but without the middlemen, the high fees, or the trust assumptions. We are open source by default, because we believe payment infrastructure should be auditable by anyone.
